Minted
Minted is a marketplace of independent artists. Minted held their first contest for wedding save the dates in 2008. They raised 111 million in cash, LinkedIn named Minted as one of 2014’s 10 Most In-Demand Start-Ups among job seekers, and the CEO was named one of the 25 Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company in 2013. Tens of thousands of design and art entries later, the company has expanded into the art business and the home décor business and its products have reached 40 million homes.
Hired by the Creative Director of Brand Services, I worked in-house and remotely for all things copy. I wrote for the site, product marketing emails, digital ads, catalog, social media, retail branding, and OOH, and partnerships with Target, Michael's, Pippa, and Beholden. My reputation for "talented puns" put me in front of the CEO to work on a contest for Greeting Cards that will be sold in Target. As an independent creative myself, I felt inspired and grateful to be on a team with a shared purpose to create unique work.
